Hoiana Nam Hoi An is a high-end integrated resort complex located in Quang Nam Province, Vietnam. The project is developed by Nam Hoi An Development Co., Ltd. (HASD) in collaboration with VinaCapital and Gold Yield Enterprises, with a total investment of up to 4 billion USD across 985 hectares. 

Netcab is honored to participate in deploying the network infrastructure and entertainment systems for Phase 1 of the project, completed within 1.5 years starting from 2020.

Context & Challenges

Hoiana Nam Hoi An is a large-scale integrated resort in Quang Nam Province, Vietnam, featuring a 5-star hotel system, casino, golf course, and numerous high-end entertainment amenities. Given its vast scale and international operational standards, deploying the technology infrastructure for the project presented significant challenges in design, construction, and system integration.
The project required building a robust network foundation with over 18,000 connection points (network nodes) using Cat.6 cabling to ensure stable data transmission and high performance across the entire resort. Additionally, the system had to meet 24/7 continuous operation demands to support hotel, casino, and ancillary facility activities. Seamlessly integrating various technology systems—particularly the Access Control System (ACS) and IPTV solutions for thousands of guest rooms—posed a significant challenge, all while maintaining a 1.5-year construction timeline.

Netcab’s Solution

To meet the project’s stringent requirements, Netcab deployed a comprehensive ICT infrastructure solution ensuring stability, scalability, and long-term operational performance. The Structured Cabling System (SCS) was built to international standards, utilizing Cat.6 UTP LSZH copper cables combined with ELV infrastructure, including fiber optic backbones, network cabling, and rack systems. This solution enhanced interference resistance, ensured durability, and maintained stable transmission performance in the resort’s complex operating environment.
Concurrently, Netcab implemented an access control system using Salto XS4 Mini BLE smart locks for approximately 984 rooms in the staff village and other accommodation areas, enhancing security levels and optimizing operational management. Additionally, the MVI IPTV solution was integrated into the network infrastructure, delivering stable in-room entertainment services for guests with easy scalability for future expansion.

Results & Value Delivered

The successful implementation of the Hoiana Nam Hoi An project has affirmed Netcab’s capability in executing large-scale and complex ICT projects in the hospitality sector. With over 18,000 network connection points operational, this stands as one of the largest network infrastructure projects Netcab has undertaken.
The stable and reliable network system effectively supports the continuous operations of over 1,200 hotel rooms, the casino area, and premium amenities while minimizing service downtime. Salto’s Access Control system enhances security and management efficiency, while MVI’s IPTV solution delivers a premium entertainment experience meeting international 5-star resort standards.
