Context & Challenges

Central Retail Vietnam is one of the region’s leading multi-sector retail groups, operating a network of supermarkets and shopping centers with high operational intensity. At the 163 Phan Dang Luu project, the primary challenge for Netcab was upgrading an existing ICT & ELV infrastructure that had become outdated, overloaded, and lacking in standardization.

In a retail environment, the system not only requires high-speed data transmission but must also ensure continuous availability to maintain stable connectivity between stores and central systems. In addition, the deployment had to meet strict requirements for aesthetics, clean installation, and minimal disruption to ongoing business operations — demanding strong project management capabilities and precise workforce coordination.

Netcab’s Solution

To meet the investor’s demand for a modern, centralized IT infrastructure, Netcab delivered a fully integrated ICT & ELV solution, with a structured cabling system as its foundation. The solution utilized CommScope Cat.6 copper cabling combined with Fiber Optic OM3 & OS2 backbone, ensuring stable transmission performance and efficient data connectivity throughout the building.

In addition, Netcab supplied and deployed key technical systems, including a Hikvision CCTV system for security monitoring, a TOA Public Address (PA) system for internal communication, an IP PBX system to support interdepartmental communication, and an APC UPS system to ensure uninterrupted power supply for critical equipment.

The seamless integration of these systems created a unified infrastructure platform, enabling easier operation and maintenance while effectively supporting centralized management across the retail network.

Results & Value Delivered

The completed project delivered a stable and standardized ICT & ELV infrastructure, effectively supporting the client’s requirements for centralized management and modern retail operations. The structured cabling system, based on CommScope Cat.6 and Fiber OM3 & OS2, ensures high-speed data transmission and reliable internal connectivity.

At the same time, the integrated deployment of Hikvision CCTV, TOA PA system, IP PBX, and APC UPS enhances security monitoring, improves internal communication, and maintains continuous power supply for critical systems.

With a well-organized and standardized infrastructure, system operation and maintenance have become more efficient, while minimizing the risk of service disruptions.
