Pandora Production Facility in Vietnam

Context & Challenges

Pandora Production Vietnam factory, located in VSIP III, Binh Duong, is designed to become a large-scale jewelry manufacturing hub in Vietnam and the region, with a production capacity of up to 60 million pieces per year and approximately 7,000 employees. The project is developed in accordance with LEED Gold standards, requiring the technical infrastructure to meet both high operational performance and sustainability (ESG) criteria.

In this context, the ICT system must ensure absolute reliability with continuous operation (zero downtime) in a large-scale manufacturing environment, while supporting data processing demands from automated production lines and intelligent logistics systems. In addition, strict security requirements necessitate a CCTV system with full coverage, delivering high-quality imaging and low latency. All materials and implementation methods must also be optimized to enhance energy efficiency and minimize environmental impact in compliance with ESG standards.

Netcab’s Solution

Netcab delivered a comprehensive ICT & ELV infrastructure solution, leveraging technologies from its strategic partner CommScope to fully meet the project’s technical and operational requirements. The structured cabling system (SCS) was deployed using the Cat.6A SFTP copper cabling across all network outlets, ensuring data transmission speeds of up to 10Gbps and effective electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding in industrial environments. In parallel, the backbone infrastructure utilizes single-mode OS2 fiber optic cabling, providing high-bandwidth and stable connectivity between production areas and the central control room.

At the same time, Netcab deploys the installation of a wide-area CCTV system, fully integrated into the ELV infrastructure to enable centralized management and fast data retrieval. The rack system and data center infrastructure were installed in accordance with international standards, with optimized airflow design to meet LEED requirements and ensure ease of operation and maintenance. The entire project was executed following an end-to-end approach, from design to testing and commissioning, using specialized equipment to ensure all network points comply with international standards.

Results & Value Delivered

The ICT & ELV infrastructure implemented by Netcab provides a high-performance connectivity platform, ensuring stable 24/7 operations in a large-scale manufacturing environment. The system supports long-term Smart Factory requirements while minimizing the risk of downtime and improving overall operational efficiency.

 The rack and network cabling system is deployed by Netcab in compliance with high technical standards.  

Its flexible design enables seamless scalability, allowing future expansion without the need for major infrastructure reconfiguration, thereby optimizing both capital and operational costs. With a system warranty of up to 25 years, Netcab delivers long-term reliability and peace of mind for the client. The successful delivery of the Pandora project, along with other large-scale developments such as LEGO, further reinforces Netcab’s capability in deploying ICT infrastructure for FDI enterprises in Vietnam.
