Context & Initial Challenges

Shopee Vietnam – a leading e-commerce company – operates its corporate headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City and a large logistics center in Long An Province. The company needed a high‑capacity ICT backbone to handle extremely large data flows between the office and warehouse, while also securing employee work areas and inventory zones. The challenge was to implement an integrated network solution for both environments: the office (desks, meeting rooms, server rooms) and the warehouse (storage zones, conveyor systems, loading docks). The system had to optimize data throughput and enforce strict access control, all amid rapid company growth and ongoing business operations.

Netcab’s Solution

Netcab built a unified network infrastructure covering both Shopee’s Ho Chi Minh City offices and its Long An logistics center. We deployed a high‑quality structured cabling system throughout every floor of the office tower and every key zone of the warehouse. This ensured seamless, high‑speed connectivity from warehouse operations up to office control rooms. In tandem, we implemented a robust LAN and Wi‑Fi system for all user areas. To secure the premises, Netcab installed a comprehensive surveillance camera network covering office and warehouse facilities, along with electronic access control at main entrances and sensitive areas. All systems were integrated into a centralized management platform, giving Shopee’s IT team unified visibility and control across geographically dispersed sites.

Results & Value

The new ICT infrastructure significantly boosted Shopee’s operational efficiency and security. Fast, stable data links between the head office and warehouse accelerated order processing and inventory management, reducing delays and errors. The integrated camera surveillance and access control systems greatly improved internal security, minimizing the risk of inventory loss or unauthorized access. As a result, Shopee now enjoys a reliable, high‑performance network supporting thousands of users, as well as centralized monitoring for security and operations. This infrastructure plays a key role in maintaining a safe working environment and efficient logistics – core requirements for Shopee’s continued growth.
